Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 398-3217

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Wolf's own guidance for FF on its range hoods. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Let go of the DELAY key once FF is showing; the reset is done.

02

Make sure the washed filters are back in the hood before cooking.

03

If FF shows but FG returns on the next use, book a visit so the control can be tested.

Cleared?

The code is gone and the blower pulls steam up on every speed again without a new part. If it returns this week, or the filter reminder keeps coming back right after a cleaning, mention it in the booking.

What not to do

FF is not a warning and asks for nothing. It only shows up because someone held DELAY, so FF appearing on its own during cooking is worth mentioning when you book.

What you may
notice with it.

The range hood problems FF tends to arrive with. Answer these at the range hood before anyone is booked.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

The hood is doing something it was told to do, not wearing out: a delay-off timer that keeps the blower running for some minutes after the burners go off, a heat sentry that starts the fan by itself when it senses a hot pan, a Sabbath setting that locks the keys and dims the lights, or a link to the cooking surface that sets the speed on its own. No part is needed; a key sequence from the manual, or simply waiting, ends it.

In Wolf's own words

After installing the filters, hold the DELAY key until "FF" appears to reset the error code.

Questions
about FF.

Can I clear FF myself?
Let go of the DELAY key once FF is showing; the reset is done.
Does FF on my Wolf hood mean the filters are full?
No, it is the opposite. FF confirms that the reminder was just cleared and the count has restarted.
How long do I hold DELAY on a black Wolf V Series hood?
Hold it until FF appears in the display, then release. A short tap only starts the delay-off timer instead.
Should I reset the Wolf reminder before washing the filters?
Wash first and reset after. Resetting with dirty filters in place just starts a new 100-hour count on filters that already need cleaning.

Back to your everyday

Still showing FF?

Three things make the booking useful: the letters or blink pattern exactly as they showed, the full model number from the label behind the filters, and whether the fan still moves air on every speed. With those, the technician arrives with half the answer already worked out.
