What Intensive speed drops back after 6 or 10 minutes
actually means.

Faber's intensive speed is built for short bursts of heavy smoke. On the Highlight and Inca Lux Premium it runs for 6 minutes; on the Stilo, holding the high-speed button for 2 seconds starts it for 10 minutes. Afterward the hood returns to the speed you had before, or switches off if it started from off.

What to do when Intensive speed drops back after 6 or 10 minutes shows on the range hood

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Faber's own guidance for Intensive speed drops back after 6 or 10 minutes on its range hoods. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Press intensive again if the smoke is still heavy.

02

Otherwise pick the highest regular speed for longer runs.

03

If the hood drops speed during ordinary speeds, not just after intensive, book a visit to test the blower and control.

Cleared?

The code is gone and the blower pulls steam up on every speed again without a new part. If it returns this week, or the filter reminder keeps coming back right after a cleaning, mention it in the booking.

What not to do

The drop in speed is not the motor overheating or failing. If intensive never starts at all, the hood may have had its airflow reduced during installation, which disables intensive on some models.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

The hood is doing something it was told to do, not wearing out: a delay-off timer that keeps the blower running for some minutes after the burners go off, a heat sentry that starts the fan by itself when it senses a hot pan, a Sabbath setting that locks the keys and dims the lights, or a link to the cooking surface that sets the speed on its own. No part is needed; a key sequence from the manual, or simply waiting, ends it.

Questions
about Intensive speed drops back after 6 or 10 minutes.

Can I clear Intensive speed drops back after 6 or 10 minutes myself?
Press intensive again if the smoke is still heavy.
Why does my Faber slow down after a few minutes on high?
Intensive speed is timed. It ends after 6 or 10 minutes, depending on the model, and returns to your earlier speed.
Can I keep a Faber on intensive speed all the time?
Not continuously; it times out by design. Restart it when needed.
Why won't intensive speed start on my Faber?
On hoods set below 295 or 395 CFM at installation, intensive is switched off for good. Otherwise, a keypad that ignores the intensive button needs a check.

Still showing Intensive speed drops back after 6 or 10 minutes?

Three things make the booking useful: the letters or blink pattern exactly as they showed, the full model number from the label behind the filters, and whether the fan still moves air on every speed. With those, the technician arrives with half the answer already worked out.
