What HIGH pad LED blinking
actually means.

Pressing and holding HIGH for 3 seconds switches the QuietBoost blower to Boost, its top speed. The HIGH LED blinks on and off while Boost is active, and Boost lasts 15 minutes. The heat sensor can also send the blower to Boost on its own.

What to do when HIGH pad LED blinking shows on the range hood

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Monogram's own guidance for HIGH pad LED blinking on its range hoods. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Let Boost run if there is heavy smoke or steam; it ends after 15 minutes.

02

Press POWER to switch the fan off if you want to stop sooner.

03

If Boost came on by itself, turn down the burners: the heat sensor may have triggered it.

04

If the HIGH light blinks with the burners off and the hood cool, book a visit.

Cleared?

The code is gone and the blower pulls steam up on every speed again without a new part. If it returns this week, or the filter reminder keeps coming back right after a cleaning, mention it in the booking.

What not to do

A blinking HIGH light does not warn of a failing motor. A fan that cuts in and out on its own is different; Monogram links that to the motor overheating and asks for clean filters first.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

The hood is doing something it was told to do, not wearing out: a delay-off timer that keeps the blower running for some minutes after the burners go off, a heat sentry that starts the fan by itself when it senses a hot pan, a Sabbath setting that locks the keys and dims the lights, or a link to the cooking surface that sets the speed on its own. No part is needed; a key sequence from the manual, or simply waiting, ends it.

In Monogram's own words

Press and hold the HIGH pad for 3 seconds to activate the BOOST speed that will run for 15 minutes.

Questions
about HIGH pad LED blinking.

Can I clear HIGH pad LED blinking myself?
Let Boost run if there is heavy smoke or steam; it ends after 15 minutes.
Why is my Monogram hood roaring with the HIGH light blinking?
It is on Boost, the strongest setting, for up to 15 minutes. Either someone held HIGH for 3 seconds or the heat sensor sent it there.
How long does Boost last on a Monogram professional hood?
Fifteen minutes when started from the HIGH pad.
Can the Monogram hood go to Boost by itself?
Yes. Its heat sensor thermostat raises the blower to Boost when it senses excessive heat, then returns it to your setting as things cool.

Still showing HIGH pad LED blinking?

Three things make the booking useful: the letters or blink pattern exactly as they showed, the full model number from the label behind the filters, and whether the fan still moves air on every speed. With those, the technician arrives with half the answer already worked out.
