What LED Speed Indicators flashing
actually means.

The button version of the 600 Series shows four LED speed lights. After power is pressed, all four flash until a speed is chosen, or the hood turns off after ten seconds. Pressing power while the fans run makes the active speed light flash and starts a three-minute delay before the fans stop.

What to do when LED Speed Indicators flashing shows on the range hood

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from ZLINE's own guidance for LED Speed Indicators flashing on its range hoods. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

After pressing power, press a speed button while the four lights flash.

02

To stop the fans at once during the delay, press power again.

03

If the lights flash but no speed will select, book a visit to check the button panel.

Cleared?

The code is gone and the blower pulls steam up on every speed again without a new part. If it returns this week, or the filter reminder keeps coming back right after a cleaning, mention it in the booking.

What not to do

Flashing speed lights are part of normal operation on this panel, not an error. The three-minute delay only stops the fans; the lights stay as they were set.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

The hood is doing something it was told to do, not wearing out: a delay-off timer that keeps the blower running for some minutes after the burners go off, a heat sentry that starts the fan by itself when it senses a hot pan, a Sabbath setting that locks the keys and dims the lights, or a link to the cooking surface that sets the speed on its own. No part is needed; a key sequence from the manual, or simply waiting, ends it.

In ZLINE's own words

Press the Power Control (On/Off) button once. The four LED Speed Indicators above the Speed Control will flash.

Still showing LED Speed Indicators flashing?

Three things make the booking useful: the letters or blink pattern exactly as they showed, the full model number from the label behind the filters, and whether the fan still moves air on every speed. With those, the technician arrives with half the answer already worked out.
