Holding the Low button for 3 seconds starts the Wi-Fi connection, and the indicator flashes until the hood is added in the SmartHQ app. Once connected, the light stays on and the app can run fan speed, light level and the night light schedule.

If the light flashes but the hood never connects, restart the router and try again.
If the hood still will not connect or keeps dropping off, book a visit.

Wall-mount range hood
The chimney hood fixed to a bare stretch of wall above the burners, its canopy catching the rising smoke while a telescoping cover hides the duct that climbs to the ceiling.
Under-cabinet range hood
The slim hood screwed to the bottom of the wall cabinet over the burners, venting up through that cabinet or back through the wall, or cleaning the air and returning it to the room.
