Holding High for 3 seconds switches the QuietBoost blower to its Boost speed for a heavy burst of smoke or steam. The High LED blinks while Boost is on, and after 15 minutes the hood returns to normal speed. Boost is louder than High, which is expected.

The chimney hood fixed to a bare stretch of wall above the burners, its canopy catching the rising smoke while a telescoping cover hides the duct that climbs to the ceiling.
