What F and C keys flashing
actually means.

Clean air mode switches the KPH blower on at first speed for ten minutes every hour. While it runs, the F and C keys flash together; between runs the blower stops and the F key stays lit steadily until the next cycle.

What to do when F and C keys flashing shows on the range hood

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Bertazzoni's own guidance for F and C keys flashing on its range hoods. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

If you want the hourly airing, leave the hood as it is.

02

To stop it, press key B, or press a speed key to go straight back to normal use.

03

If the keys flash and the blower does not run at all, book a visit to check the blower and board.

Cleared?

The code is gone and the blower pulls steam up on every speed again without a new part. If it returns this week, or the filter reminder keeps coming back right after a cleaning, mention it in the booking.

What not to do

The flashing pair is not a filter reminder; on the KPH hoods that job belongs to the A key. It is also not a stuck keypad, since any key other than the light key ends the mode.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

The hood is doing something it was told to do, not wearing out: a delay-off timer that keeps the blower running for some minutes after the burners go off, a heat sentry that starts the fan by itself when it senses a hot pan, a Sabbath setting that locks the keys and dims the lights, or a link to the cooking surface that sets the speed on its own. No part is needed; a key sequence from the manual, or simply waiting, ends it.

In Bertazzoni's own words

During this time key F and key C must flash at the same time.

Still showing F and C keys flashing?

Three things make the booking useful: the letters or blink pattern exactly as they showed, the full model number from the label behind the filters, and whether the fan still moves air on every speed. With those, the technician arrives with half the answer already worked out.
