Miele's DA 6698 W uses its power level lights to report network steps. Steady 2 and 3 mean a connection is in place; 2 and 3 flashing, or the hood abandoning the attempt, means it could not connect. The same lights also flash briefly when you sign out of Wi-Fi on purpose.
