What Low button blinking
actually means.

Dacor's keypad wall hoods count fan hours and, every 50 hours, blink the Low button as a filter alarm. It suggests the filters may need cleaning; it does not measure them. Holding Power for 3 seconds clears the alarm and restarts the count.

What to do when Low button blinking shows on the range hood

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Dacor's own guidance for Low button blinking on its range hoods. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Switch the hood off at the keypad and let the filters and LED strip cool, so the grease firms up.

02

Take the filters down and clean them, then let them dry before refitting.

03

Hold the Power button for 3 seconds to reset the filter alarm.

04

If the Low button keeps blinking after the reset, book a visit.

What not to do

A blinking Low button is not a sign the fan is stuck on low or that the keypad is failing; the other speeds still work. It is also separate from the Bluetooth icon blinking, which is about pairing.

Still showing Low button blinking?

Three things make the booking useful: the letters or blink pattern exactly as they showed, the full model number from the label behind the filters, and whether the fan still moves air on every speed. With those, the technician arrives with half the answer already worked out.
