Zephyr LCD hoods greet you with HELLO for a few seconds as the controls come on, including when proximity sensing wakes them as you walk up. GOODBYE shows briefly when the hood turns off. The controls go dark again after 60 seconds if nothing is pressed and nothing is running. If it returns this week, or the filter reminder keeps coming back right after a cleaning, mention it in the booking. ### What not to do HELLO is not a reset after a power problem.
