If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I wash the charcoal filters when my Wolf hood shows FC? No. Charcoal traps odor by soaking it up, and once it is full it has to be replaced. Only the mesh grease filters are meant for the dishwasher. ### How long do the charcoal filters last on a Wolf V Series hood? Wolf suggests three to four months, depending on how much you cook. Heavy daily cooking uses them up sooner. ### Why would a ducted Wolf hood show FC? A hood vented outdoors does not use charcoal, so FC on one suggests the control was set up for recirculation.
