Turn the hood off and let it cool, then take down the baffle or mesh filters and wash them. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Does the Thermador FILTER light measure how greasy the filters are? No. It counts 40 hours of blower time and then lights, so clean filters can still trigger it. Resetting after each wash keeps the count honest. ### Can the Thermador hood tell my phone when the filters need cleaning? On Home Connect models, yes. Switch the clean filter reminder on in the app settings, where you can also see how far along the count is. ### I held FILTER on my Thermador hood but nothing happened. Why? The key needs a steady three-second press until the beep.
